Independent Ocean Services is a company created in 2006 by Bernard Lugez and Thierry Lamy. After 30 years working for Bollore Group and Delmas, Mr Lugez  and Mr Lamy decided to use their international shipping experience and to found I.O.S. Covering all the North America, Independent Ocean Services has offices in New York and in Montreal.

 

Our service contracts with all the main carriers allow us to propose the best services at very competitive rates from 23 different ports in the USA or in Canada. Multicultural, our team can speak either English, French, Portuguese or Chinese and then do business with clients from all around the world.

Within Independent Ocean Services, we provide a personalized assistance to our customer as well as a great customer service thanks to our talented and experienced staff. In order to always bring more value to our customers, we have extended our services and can offer pre-positionning, post-positionning, as well as many other services such as customs export formalities, cargo insurance, ocean equipment purchase, container stuffing (vehicles), etc...
